Returns Policy for retail customers include the following:

  • Merchandise must be returned with original packaging, documentation and hardware.
  • Return will not be accepted if items are installed or used.
  • Special Order items CANNOT be cancelled, exchanged or returned.  NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • Merchandise cannot be damaged including packaging, no missing part or component and must be in re-sellable/like-new condition.
  • 15% re-stocking fee applies for the first 30 days. NO RETURNS after 30 days of purchase.
  • Returns that are not defective but claimed to be will be subject to a $10 surcharge. All non-product charges such as shipping are not refundable. If you want the item returned, you must pay all return shipping and handling charges to arrive our facility for inspection prior of return approval.
  • Some products may vary slightly due to lighting, picture angle, or alternate manufacturers. One Year Limited Warranty:

All Items sold are on an as is basis. RS Performance disclaims all warranties expressed or implied. We also do not authorize anyone to assume liability in connection with these items.  Buyer cannot recover any damages besides RS Performance products. (MECHANICAL, LABOR AND ANY OTHER DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE DEFECTIVE ITEM WILL NOT BE COVERED). All merchandise is aftermarket and intended for OFF-ROAD use only. Buyer assumes responsibility for violations of local laws and rules that may result from use of merchandise. Please check your local laws and research the item to make sure you are purchasing the correct items.

USER ASSUMES ALL RISKS & COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH USE OF THESE PARTS & ACCESSORIES. RS Performance will not be responsible for any damage or loss aside from the part that is sold by us.  The warranty covers the Product against factory defects in material and manufacturing (cosmetic defects, rust and finish imperfections are not covered) when correctly used on the recommended passenger car the Products are designed for and used under normal operating conditions.  In order to keep parts working in their optimum performance, some maintenance is required (e.g. Hosing down salt, snow, debris, etc.)

All warranty claims must be approved by our warranty department.  After the first warranty claim, replacement part will only carry a 6-month period warranty—after which point, if another replacement is necessary, the second replacement will no longer carry a warranty.  Physical damage will void your warranty.  Please keep all invoices for all warranty claims since this is what we use to determine the warranty period. Coil-Over Damper Kits Warranty

Coil-over damper kits come with a limited 1-year manufacturer warranty which covers certain product defects. Damage from improper install, improper use, road debris, curbs, potholes is absolutely not covered. Receipt from a qualified technician required for any and all claims, no exceptions.

Any modifications or abuse to the coil-over damper kits automatically voids the warranty on the damper kit. All warranty claims must be approved by our warranty department. After the first replacement, warranty will be void for that shipment.

Carbon Spoiler Warranty:

We have a limited 6-month warranty on the clear-coat and manufacturer defects (e.g. receiving a brand new carbon fiber spoiler that is faded is considered a manufacturer defect). Scratches, hairline fractures and other damages found on the item upon arrival are considered shipping damages and not manufacturer defects.  Shipping damages must be claimed with the shipping carrier if the item was insured—items that were not insured cannot be claimed under any circumstance.  Our warranty extends only to vehicles that have not had any bodywork done to the vehicle.  As a precaution, test fit all parts before you cut/paint/drill the items. We test fit all parts before we make them available for sale.  However, customers need to understand that no after-market body parts will fit exactly like OEM.

NOTE: Your carbon fiber product is durable, but it still needs maintenance to stay looking good. To avoid pre-mature ageing, it is important to keep your carbon fiber product clean.  Minimize exposure to the sun and water spot’s. Also remember to wax your carbon fiber product when necessary.

Exhaust Systems Warranty:

Stainless Steel Exhaust Systems come with a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturer defects, such as defective resonators, mufflers, and welds between piping and flanges.  Any dents found on the piping are considered shipping damages; any shipping damages are to be claimed through the shipping carrier if the item was insured—items that were not insured cannot be claimed under any circumstance.  Our exhaust system warranty extends only when the item is installed on the vehicle for which the exhaust product was designed for as noted by the part number.  Any custom modification(s) to the exhaust systems automatically voids the product warranty.

High-Performance Brake Systems Warranty:

Our high-performance brake systems come with a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturer defects found within the caliper.  Our warranty is limited to manufacturer defects since brake system performance is directly relative to system use and installation.  Our high-performance brake systems are guaranteed to be free of structural, materials or workmanship defects as delivered.  If there are any structural, materials or workmanship concerns at time of delivery, contact RS Performance for warranty determination.  Our rotors are covered with a 3-month / 2-dot warranty—appearance of 2-dots specifically designed to appear on the rotor after its expected warranty duration—on the rotor automatically voids warranty of the rotor.  Warranty on rotors is limited to 3-months due to life expectancy of rotors being dependent on their use and installation.  Improper installation and use of our brake system automatically voids the warranty.  If item is found to be defective under the terms of this warranty, it is at the sole discretion of RS Performance to replace the item.

RS Performance is not liable for any loss, damage, injury or expense either consequential or incidental from use of this item.  RS Performance assumes no responsibility for any losses, costs or expenses expended as a result of a defective item or the return for warranty determination of said item.  Due to the fact that racing is a dangerous sport, buyer assumes all risk and liability resulting from the use of said item(s).

CONDITION OF SALE:

  • 15% re-stocking fee applies for the first 30 days. NO RETURNS after 30 days of purchase.
  • Buyer will be charged shipping to and from RS Performance if package is refused including 15% re-stocking fee on the actual item.
  • RS Performance does not take any returns on used or damaged items.

  • For all warranty claims, please supply original invoice, detailed description of claim, pictures of damaged item and our RS Performance logo. DO NOT modify the item until RS Performance has agreed to your terms and have notified you to do so. Modification of the product without RS Performance’s knowledge will void your product warranty. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
  • An RMA # (Return Merchant Authorization number) must be received from RS Performance before an item is returned. In order to get a return authorization number, please fax original invoice to our return department at (626) 581-4332. The Return Authorization Number must be visible on outside of package containing the returned merchandise. Unauthorized returns or items without a Return Authorization Number will be REJECTED at RS Performance Receiving Department and will be sent back to sender at senders cost.

Domestic Shipping:

Merchandise in most cases are shipped by UPS/USPS/CanadaPost. Shipping cost for the above exceptions may be extra and are not included in the shipping cost.

  • We do not ship to PO Boxes, APO or ANY MILITARY ADDRESS. We must ship to physical addresses only.  If paying by credit card, we must ship to billing address of the credit card.
  • Shipments usually leave our warehouse between 2-3 days upon receipt of payment. Processing payments and packaging takes time, so please allow time for packaging and shipping time. Shipments can be expedited for an extra fee, please call for quotes and details.
  • Handling cost is included in the cost of shipping. Extra packing materials, boxes and labor are used to safely send out packages.
  • Multiple smaller items can be sent together. One small and one large item may be sent together. Two big items will be shipped separately. Please email us with the items you intended to buy and inquire on how much we will charge on shipping or if there is any additional cost on shipping.
  • Upon request, we will provide your tracking/confirmation numbers via FedEx for shipments.  Requests can be made 5 days after payment (credit card or online) and 10 days if payment is mailed.
  • Refused or undeliverable shipments will not be granted a refund. There will be a surcharge for all refused/undeliverable packages. NO EXCEPTIONS!

International Shipping:

  • We ship worldwide, additional charges apply anywhere outside of mainland Canada and the United States.
  • The buyer is responsible for all customs and duties FEES APPLICABLE.
